Capsula blow up SXSW, Chicago Tribune, KEXP, Wired and more!
After blowing up South by South West Music Festival in Austin, TX, Capsula got acclaim from top critics at The Chicago Tribune, Kexp, Wired Magazine, and many more. The Chicago Tribune praised their performance as 'one of the favorites musical highlights of SXSW 2010', while Wired Magazine top the band as one of the '9 bands that blew them away,with gobs of energetic, heavy garage psyche — think Comets on Fire and The Cramps — with screamed lyrics that are sometimes English, sometimes Spanish, or maybe Basque, although you can never really tell under the haze of reverb, fuzz and crashing cymbals'. Wired also included 'Magnetic Brain' as a top shelf track from SXSW standouts. Amazing Kexp Radio from Seattle blazes 'While their blend of garage rock, blues, and proto-punk made for one of the finest albums of last year, Capsula must be heard (and seen) live to be fully appreciated'.
